Stig Lindberg Tiles for Bricmate

A collection of tiles for Swedish brand Bricmate where classic patterns designed by Stig Lindberg (one of Sweden's most important postwar designers) have been reinterpreted by our studio. Lindberg's production of shapes, colours and patterns are characterized by a playfulness with a strictly Scandinavian aesthetic, often with a humorous undertone – something we tried to carry forward in our work with these patterns. The result is a balanced combination of patterns with a subtlety that balances colours and shapes. The series also creates a cohesive whole that can be combined in several different ways.
