True to our ‘‘if we can’t find it, we design it’’ approach, we created Candid as a versatile, materially honest chair, suitable for numerous environments from restaurants to the home. Appearing light and bold at the same time, Zilio A&C’s craftsmanship was integral to realising the structural challenges of this elegant piece of seating. With their expertise, we were able to make the chair’s dimensions extremely compact, maximising space efficiency without compromising comfort or robustness.
Three special versions of Candid are available via Note_Editions, each one representing a different stage in the process of the Japanese traditional wood-charring technique, Shou Sugi Ban.
