Järn Series for Skeppshult

Skeppshult has been making beautiful iron goods by hand since 1906, according to ancient methods and traditions. In 2018, we designed Järn – a five-piece collection of cooking instruments made of virgin cast iron – for the Swedish heritage brand. Featuring an integrated cast iron handle and seasoned with organic, KRAV-certified canola oil, the hexadecagon-shaped pieces offer an environmentally friendly and healthy alternative to today’s plastic-coated aluminium pans. The playful name Järn is the direct translation of ‘iron’ in Swedish.
