Creative Direction for Wekino
A standalone landing page, created specifically for the launch of Wekino "With" collection.
Presenting Wekino at the 2024 Stockholm Furniture Fair for the very first time.
We partnered with South Korean furniture and lifestyle brand Wekino to develop a design strategy to help them achieve their goal of becoming a powerhouse for Korean design. For the first public output of our collaboration, we curated an inaugural collection of furniture — bringing together established and up-and-coming designers from the vibrant Korean scene. The collection, named ‘With,’ reflects both Korea’s rich heritage of craftsmanship and the country’s hyper-modern buzz. Designed by seven dynamic talents, the range includes lounge chairs, tables, bookcases, rugs, mirrors and coat hangers — familiar forms, rendered as new creative expressions. Note’s responsibilities included selecting and briefing the designers, overseeing product development and creating the colour and material worlds — along with design direction, website design and social media strategy.
Next we introduced Wekino at the Stockholm Furniture Fair for the very first time. Our stand concept drew inspiration from the term ‘rollout’ with makeshift carpets unfurled and repeated across the space, each of them dedicated to a specific product or designer. Semi-transparent panels told the story behind each piece, completing a pleasing composition of textile, plexiglass and the expressive, crafted appearance of the products themselves. Our stand design allows for easy assembly and disassembly — perfect for a travelling exhibition.
