Pholc Brand Identity
We entered into a close and collaborative partnership with Swedish lighting company Pholc to define their creative direction and brand strategy across every touchpoint. In the Note studio, we developed and designed everything from the brand identity – including the logo, typography and colour world – to art direction for photography and video, exhibition graphics, social media curation, copywriting and editorial content, as well as printed material such as stationery and catalogues.
This multifaceted project saw us give form to a brand which we characterised as expressive, sophisticated, relevant and informed. As with Pholc’s lamps, our starting point was located in classic Scandinavian design sensibilities – blended with a contemporary attitude. The result struck a balance between the unique and the regular to establish a design with longevity and relevance.
