Noerd is a new service on a mission to organise free creativity. For their visual identity, we wanted to showcase how their network operates by curating a team of talents to collaboratively develop everything from brand strategy to tone of voice. Noerd's core values of quality, transparency, and creative freedom informed the entire process as well as the end result. The foundation of the brand identity lies in editorial design, allowing for all kinds of work by independent creatives — whether illustration, copy, photography, or video — to co-exist within a strong core identity and voice. A combination of a characterful, variable sans serif and a lightweight serif allow for bold typographic layouts, with a playful and confident touch.
