Kosta Boda Photo Direction – Collection
Swedish glassware brand Kosta Boda was on a mission to update and strengthen their brand image to adapt to the increasingly digital world of retail. Our goal was to create an approach to art direction that could be easily scaled, manifested physically, and expanded digitally. The ‘‘imaginary pattern’’ – conjured by light and shadow – allowed us to play with angles, scale, product placement, props and composition to bring new energy to the heritage brand.
The final result treated the humble vessel as the worthy hero of any image, while supporting conceptual images reimagined foliage. We embraced the extraordinary array of colourways, combining them with the clarifying effects of light to reveal the bold sculptural presence of every Kosta Boda object, big or small.
