We explored the influence of “connections” through designing this residential building located in Curitiba, Brazil. Setting out to create living spaces that link different activities, people through an overall spatial experience, we started with using materials, colours and furniture to connect different areas on the ground floor – a communal hub of the building that includes an entrance hall, party room, playroom and fitness facility; all serves the purpose of encouraging interaction insides out.
A light yellow-grey base palette matching with warm natural materials are the foundation of the whole building, complementing each other for a homely atmosphere – canvas to allow its future residents to adapt to their own personal style easily.
