A light designed to bring calm and warmth.
ASTER is a modular lighting system developed in collaboration with AGO Lighting, inspired by the night sky and the idea of light as a spatial element. Defined by a clear and balanced geometry, ASTER begins as a single, self-contained light; calm, precise, and quietly present. Through its modular structure, it can expand into larger compositions, where multiple units connect to form more expressive, architectural arrangements. Designed to adapt over time, the system moves fluidly between scales and contexts, from intimate interiors to larger public environments. This flexibility allows ASTER to shift between being a subtle object and a more defining spatial presence. The project reflects a shared ambition between AGO and Note to create a lighting system that is both complete in its singular form and open to growth. The name ASTER, derived from “star,” points to this idea: individual elements that hold their own identity while forming greater constellations through connection.
