ATG 2009

Lobby Interior

A welcoming light

The previous entrance was very complex, with mixed impressions in architecture as well as design. To create a clearer and more direct expression we had to simplify and reduce, both in materials and navigation, creating a bright and welcoming reception for the visitors of ATG. A thin white surface made of perforated steel covers the walls and ceiling, enhancing the volumes of the room. There is a kitchenette where the visitors can help themselves to coffee, ice cream or some sparkling water. Placed in the middle of the room is a full-scale horse with a lampshade on its head.
